Kate Marshall-Chase,co-owner of the Center for Well-Being began a career in wholistic health in 1982 after completing a Master's degree at Penn State University.Interest in alternative health led to training in Massage Therapy, complimenting a personal practice and study of Iyengar Yoga. Kate credits the integration of massage therapy and yoga for providing the balance necessary to maintain an active lifestyle.
Together with business partners Kate purchased a historic Victorian church in Lemont village to create a beautiful, peaceful, friendly wellness center. For many years Kate has witnessed positive transformations made by clients and students who have come for massage therapy, yoga study and a variety of workshops and classes designed to help them live well...naturally!!
In addition to a private practice in Massage Therapy, specializing in deep tissue work, Kate teaches "Yoga for Athletes". A recent trip to India fullfilled Kate's dream to study at the Iyengar Yoga Institute. Kate lives and plays in Lemont with her husband, two sons, two cats and two dogs in a house they built themselves!!
