Karen Askey is an Alabama transplant to Happy Valley, PA. Her mother taught her to sew as a young girl, although the important lessons such as "read pattern instructions" and "press your seams" didn't really sink in until she tried to sew for herself as an adult! Now she creates her own patterns and embroidery designs and keeps an iron close at hand.

As a mother of two boys, she knows how hard it is to find baby gear that is not only fuctional but also refects a mom's personal style.
